Pretty Serious

Having mentioned before the competitiveness of my family... from water-skiing antics when we were kids to expensive (to us at least, as Lew has won only once in the 18 years that he has had the privilege of playing, and me probably twice) Sunday afternoon family games of Tunk... I need to update...

Since we have been here in Michigan my sister Barb and I have been playing Scrabble religiously!  Maybe 2 or 3, sometimes 4 or 5 times a week, you will find us either out next to the pool, or at the game table, either at her house or my parents... always close to a supply of cold ones, either in a cooler or a fridge.

At least 3 games will be played at one sitting because it never fails that with the first two we will rack up one win a piece, necessitating a third tie breaker!  Sometimes.

Usually the rest of the family heads off to bed as Barb and I continue on into the night...
Our longest session has so far lasted until 4 a.m., unsure of how many games were played.
I do know that it has been really enjoyable.

Official Sister's Day was the first Sunday in August.
It's really nice to have a sister!

Aww, you make me want to call my sister! I, too, am a major Scrabble player and enjoy playing on long passages! It's such a wonderful feeling to have your sister around! Enjoy it!
