The lake is warmer than the air, the sea smoke is getting thicker, rising higher... it's time to think about heading south.
Today the team arrived and the pool was closed, the water drained to below the jets, the pump, the chlorinator. Antifreeze was added to the skimmer.
The winter cover was stretched, secured.
Kreepy Krauler was stored along with all the other hoses.
The leaves are starting - just starting to change colors. A vibrant splash of red here. A warm yellow there.
Autumn has arrived.

We are here, floating on M3.
Feels good to be here/home, but it is time for the change.
